Journal Policies

1. Scope and Objectives

The International Journal of Business and Technology Studies and Research (IJBTSR) is dedicated to publishing high-quality, peer-reviewed research in business, technology, and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal seeks to advance academic discourse and professional practice by disseminating original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and insightful case studies.

2. Open Access and Licensing

IJBTSR follows a fully open-access publishing model, ensuring unrestricted access to all published content without subscription or access fees. Authors retain full copyright of their work under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), permitting broad dissemination, reproduction, and adaptation with appropriate citation.

3. Peer Review and Editorial Process

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity. The review process includes:

  • Preliminary editorial assessment for relevance and compliance with submission guidelines.

  • Assignment to at least two independent reviewers with subject-matter expertise.

  • Evaluation based on originality, methodological robustness, and scholarly contribution.

  • Editorial board review for final publication decisions, based on peer feedback and academic merit.

4. Ethical Standards and Plagiarism Policy

IJBTSR upholds the principles of research integrity as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Submitted manuscripts are subject to plagiarism detection software to prevent academic misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate publication. Any violations will result in immediate rejection or retraction.

Additionally, the journal acknowledges the increasing use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in academic writing. Authors must explicitly disclose any AI-generated content used in their manuscripts, including text, data analysis, or figures. The editorial team reserves the right to evaluate AI-generated contributions to ensure they align with ethical research standards and do not compromise the originality or scholarly rigor of the work. Manuscripts found to be excessively reliant on AI without proper attribution or transparency may be rejected.

5. Fees and Publication Charges

To sustain the open-access publishing framework and operational costs, IJBTSR applies the following fee structure:

  • Article Processing Charge (APC): A fee of  60 USD is applicable upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication. This charge supports editorial processing, peer review coordination, and digital hosting services.

  • Submission Fee: No fees are required for manuscript submission.

6. Copyright and Intellectual Property

Authors maintain copyright of their work under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which allows for unrestricted sharing and adaptation with proper attribution. This licensing model fosters wider dissemination and scholarly impact.

7. Archiving, Indexing, and Digital Preservation

To ensure the longevity and accessibility of published articles, IJBTSR employs robust digital archiving mechanisms. The journal is indexed in reputable academic databases to enhance discoverability and citation impact.
